Wondering how to pull off 40's retro in the chilly winter weather? Easy...go menswear!
It's obvious to be attracted to the glamour of the 40's women, as I have been for a long time now (though I only recently started putting this into practise). However sometime skirts just aren't an option. On days like this one, I pull on some smart grey trousers, a jumper and a waistcoat, and I'm ready to go. With my hair curled, some peachy red lips and a nice pair of heels on, I still feel feminine, but with a bit more of an edge to it than usual.
My best friends all have very unique, distinctive styles, but I must say the thing that draws us all together is our love for occasional androgeny. It's refreshing to step out sometimes in such incredibly comfortable attire...
